Launched today alongside the company’s new Studio XPS 8000 and 9000 desktops these notebooks are powered by Intel’s Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) processors and include internal optical drives.

These are the thinnest Inspiron notebooks Dell has ever issued, with both models being around 2.5cm thin.

Both machines include a choice of Intel’s Pentium Core 2 Solo ultra-low voltage, Core 2 and Core 2 Duo processors, a hard drive up to 500GB, an integrated DVD drive, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and standard Wi-Fi and optional Mobile Broadband
