How to clean your Dell laptop

• First, we would suggest turning off the device you plan to clean, unplugging it at the mains, and removing any batteries, never attempt to clean a laptop whilst it is still plugged in or switched on.
• We recommend wearing disposable gloves to protect your hands from any cleaning products you may be using.
• Avoid using cleaning products that are too harsh, do not use bleach or peroxides on your Dell laptop, they could cause damage to your surfaces.
• Use a microfibre cloth to clean your Dell laptop, these are great as they are super absorbent, and will trap dirt and grime, they will not leave any lint behind or any nasty streaks.
• Never spray liquid directly onto the laptop
• Moisten the cloth with a mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol cleaner / 30% water, ensure the cloth is only slightly damp not wet. Squeeze out the cloth before using it on your laptop.
• Avoid allowing any moisture to get into any part of the laptop, especially the keyboard or display panels.
• Take extra care when cleaning the display screen, wipe gently in one direction from one side to the other.
• Ensure the laptop is completely air-dried before plugging it back in and using it again.
