The 160/320 GB RD Removable Disk Cartridge from Dell is the heart of the PowerVault RD1000 Removable Disk Drive and combines a tough exterior design and an internal shock absorber. The Cartridge contains Serial ATA II hard drive with up to 160 GB of native capacity and 320 GB of compressed capacity for fast and easy back up of large amounts of information. Simply pop in the removable disk media, select the files or folders you want to protect, then drag-and-drop them into the directory folder. To restore files, you just have to reverse the process. The drag-and-drop capability gives you random access, for quick restoration of the files. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems and is compatible with Dell PowerVault RD1000 Removable Disk System. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
